Religion:

Our curriculum includes learning about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, creation, The Blessed Trinity, what Jesus teaches us, how the church began and grows, the sacraments, and the Mass. We will also talk about the seasonal events of Christmas, Lent, and Easter. We will begin Preparation for First Penance and the Eucharist.

Math:

Our main focus is on addition and subtraction. The children should be able to complete at least 90 addition facts (up to 20) in 5 min or less.

Language Arts:

This includes Phonics, Spelling, Reading, Grammar and Writing.

We will continue to practice short and long vowel sounds and building our vocabulary. We learn to compare using er and est, compound words, ou sound, ow sound and oo sound. We will learn about nouns, verbs, adjectives, the different kinds of sentences, and practice writing sentence correctly.
