4A Classroom InformationFourth Grade
The integrated language arts series uses weekly selections to develop spelling, reading and writing skills. It uses a digital format for much of the components. Math focuses on division and strengthening the basic facts. Religion looks at the beatitudes, works of mercy,10 commandments and applying them . Daily science classes have units on the human body, Microscopes & Magnification, Chemistry, Matter & Interactions, Forms of Energy, Dynamic Earth Journey, Light & Optics , and finally on Examining Nutrition all using LabLearner a hands on program. Social Studies will focus on the study of Pennsylvania including history of the Harrisburg Diocese. |
