ACADEMICS

At St. Joan of Arc School, we encourage a learning environment that integrates science, technology, engineering, and math with art and our catholic value system.
 
As a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence we strive to give our students the best education possible. In a safe, nurturing, and community oriented environment they are prepared for a successful high school career, encouraged to become lifelong learners, and grow into confident, value based, ethical, and critical thinking young adults.
 
Our students move on to high schools including private, catholic and public high schools and many of them will become and graduate as honor students. 
 

​EARLY CHILDHOOD

The focus of St. Joan of Arc Preschool is socialization and learning through play. We incorporate an academic curriculum which includes basic prayer recitation, counting, shapes, and colors.

ELEMENTARY

Our elementary education offers an engaging experience for children in grades kindergarten through five. Students will learn a variety of skills in alignment with the elementary curriculum.

Our middle school has a 1:1 ratio of students to Chromebooks. The curriculum uses technology to enhance student learning. We incorporate several hands-on activities to engage students.

CURRICULUM

Quality education is achieved through a curriculum approved by both the State of Pennsylvania and the Diocese of Harrisburg. Emphasis is placed on the basic skills: reading, writing, mathematics, and science, as well as the fine arts, physical education, and computer science from kindergarten through eighth grade.

St. Joan of Arc students participate in standardized IOWA testing and score above the national average.
