Boys and Girls Basketball
An overview of the program and the teams can be found below:
HS Varsity & JV:
9th – 12th grade, players can swing between teams
Year end diocesan tournament
Cannot be a member of their PIAA HS Team, PIAA High School rules apply
Middle School Varsity & IM1:
7th – 8th grade, players can swing between teams
Varsity – Year end diocesan tournament & no playing time requirements
IM1 – Minimum playing time requirements & modified rules
Middle School JV & IM2:
5th – 6th grade, players can swing between teams
JV – Year end diocesan tournament & no playing time requirements
IM2 – Minimum playing time requirements & modified rules
Novice 1 & 2:
3rd – 4th grade, 2nd grade permitted w/ coach approval, overflow 5th graders
No swinging between Novice 1 & 2
Year end diocesan tournament, playing time requirements, & modified rules
Intramurals:
Co-Ed 1st – 2nd grade, Kindergarten permitted w/ coach approval
Leverage “Easy Ups” for modified 8ft rim height
Series of practices with two “game days” & a pizza party
Registration cost is $100, which covers: all referee expenses, all league expenses, at least 1 tournament for each team, 1 piece of apparel the player gets to keep, and utilization of uniforms (to be returned after the season)

- Sep / Oct - Open Gyms, 1x per week, no registration/signups, a little bit of skill work, then full court play, basic intro to the program, prep for season
- Nov - Feb - Regular season, practice 2x per week, games on weekends, potential kick off tournaments & year end tournaments
- May - Open gyms for summer league participants, 1x per week, no registration, come at their own discretion, prep for summer league
- Jun / Jul - Summer league play (Separate registration through Lower Paxton Township, 50% reimbursement on next year's registration for those who participate), outdoor games twice a week followed by playoffs
