Welcome! Please note ILA 7 and 8 coursework and materials are organized at our Google Classroom, where a weekly calendar and other materials are posted for student use and reference.
As of August 2022, this page has been replaced by a more obvious "homework" posting at our Google Classroom, which middle-school teachers and students rely on much more heavily than in the before times. SJA's goal is to make Google Classroom more of a one-stop-shop for teachers, students, and parents. If you have not yet accepted an invitation to become your child's Google Classroom "guardian," please do so. That one invite from your child's homeroom teacher will enable you to receive updates from all relevant Google Classrooms. My language arts homework postings always looks something like the image below. Material is organized by week, Homework is entirely capitalized so to be (seemingly) impossible to miss. Students just have to click on "HOMEWORK" to see assignments for the week. (There is no need to "View Material" ) Like a homeroom homework board, this is a helpful aid, not a substitute for attentiveness and independent responsibility in the classroom. |
