The Iowa Test is taken by students across the nation and provides an excellent measure of how well students at St. Joan of Arc compare with students in this region as well as across the country. We are proud to say that our students traditionally do very well on this test. In the most recent test, which was administered in April of 2012, the average fifth through eighth grade student at St. Joan of Arc scored better on the overall Iowa Test than did well over 98% of the students nationwide. The St. Joan of Arc students scored higher than the following percentage of students at each grade level who took the test nationwide:

Once again, our students did very well on the IOWA test scores. The NATIONAL SCHOOL NORMS compares St. Joan of Arc School Building with all the other buildings that took the test in April 2017.
HOW TO READ THE RESULTS
In the first column of the National School Norms, the SJA third class did better than 97% of the classes that took the vocabulary test in April 2017.
In the second column we see the Diocesan Average. So in the Diocese of Harrisburg, the third graders did better than 90% of the schools that took the vocabulary test in April 2017.
