Religion:
Our theme is “Stories of God's Love.” The students will learn Scripture stories that tell them of God's love and connect these stories to their lives. The stories weave prayer experiences into every lesson. Also, prayers are prayed daily.
Math:
The students will learn number writing, patterns, sorting, math stories, shapes, graphing, number sense, and one-to-one correspondence.
Language Arts:
Our Language Arts series is McGraw-Hill Little Treasures. The students will learn letter formation, naming upper and lower case letters of the Alphabet, following left to right and from bottom to top on the printed page, writing their names, reading through the use of books, the difference of realistic and fiction text, making predictions about story content, rhyming words, and identifying beginning and ending sounds.
Science:
The students will learn the five senses, healthy habits, making observations, plant growth, and sink vs. float.
Social Studies:
The students will learn about themselves and families, community helpers, famous people, and heroes.
